Role:
We are looking for a full time Marketing Project Manager to join our growing marketing team. Leveraging project management best practices, this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects from concept to completion. Projects will span brand, product, growth, and other marketing functions, so you’d need to collaborate effectively across the team as well as with external partners. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and an ability to embrace both structure and flexibility. You’d do all of this while contributing to our vibrant, diverse culture and playing a large part in our mission to make positive change in the world and transform how people think and live.
Responsobilities
- Serve as the project manager for assigned marketing initiatives
- Create and maintain project schedules for assigned projects from creative brief through final delivery, managing to deadline and budget, and proactively communicating with stakeholders along the way
- Anticipate project risks and offer solutions to mitigate them
- Tracking and invoice processing for external partners
- Ability to lead diverse team members, influence disparate stakeholder groups and align them toward common goals and outcomes
- Liaise with the different Marketing teams (Product Marketing, Events, Demand Gen, Content and Creative) to coordinate projects that advance our marketing strategies and goals.
- Create project plans from start to finish, and help organize and track the status of the project
- Identify dependencies across many different deliverables and projects
- Create project timelines
- Help keep the team on-task, on-time, and manage communication through the marketing team and internal partners.
- Communicate priorities to the project team
- Establish processes and tools to support the project and/or department
- Create efficiencies for the department
- Work with leadership to intake and prioritize brand initiatives, understanding scope, timelines, and constraints; create and own a master marketing calendar
- Collaborate, document, track, and manage the status of all marketing campaigns
- Ensure seamless execution and workflow management of daily marketing activities with both internal teams and external vendor relationships
- Implement and/or build on current work streams and processes to ensure operational efficiency
- Create marketing communication flows, ensuring team members know priority shifts, status updates and campaign changes in a timely manner
- Serve as the point of contact on projects, ensuring everyone is on the same page and knows what they are accountable for
Qualifications
- 1-5 years in Project Management for a Marketing department or agency, including experience working with creative teams
- A track record of effectively managing multiple projects and thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Wrike or other project management tools to keep projects on track
- Recognize priorities and have meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to approach challenges proactively, with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Must be able to work cross-functionally, tracking many tasks and projects at one time
- An understanding of project processes (scheduling, documentation, risk analysis, and contingency planning) as well as work breakdown, dependencies, and responsibilities
- A track record of creating frameworks and processes that help teams to prioritize and manage initiatives
- An understanding of team resource constraints and ability to workforce plan with leadership
- High attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience with Asana or similar project management tools
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- An ability to influence across teams and at all levels
- A proactive and collaborative approach; you love working with people and people love working with you
