POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Recruiting is responsible for leading talent acquisition efforts, overseeing the recruitment team, and ensuring the organization attracts top talent to meet current and future staffing needs. The Manager will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, managing the recruitment process, and building strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates. The Manager plays a critical role in shaping the employer brand and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates across all positions.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters. Ensure team goals are aligned with the organization’s hiring needs and overall business objectives.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers. Ensure timely and efficient hiring practices.
- Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking to build a pipeline of talent.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the company as an employer of choice. Ensure job postings reflect the company’s values and attract the right talent.
- Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruiting efforts. Foster positive candidate relationships and manage the candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding.
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies and consulting firms to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all recruiting practices comply with legal requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to hiring protocols.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire. Use data to make informed decisions and optimize recruitment processes.
- Develop relationship with job positing sites to effectively utilize job boards.
- Manage open position report, work with department leaders on headcount budgets, full understanding of metrics associated with recruiting.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in recruiting. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Lead, coach, motivate and develop. Responsible for one-on-one meetings, performance appraisals, growth opportunities and attracting new talent.
- Clearly communicate expectations, provide employees with the training, resources, and information needed to succeed.
- Actively engage, coach, counsel and provide timely, and constructive performance feedback.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 5 years of experience in recruiting in a Corporate environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Must demonstrate successful leadership competencies.
- Strong understanding of recruiting techniques and best practices.
- Ability to create innovative recruiting strategies.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills required. Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring regulations.
- Excellent Microsoft skills- Outlook, Word, Excel; ATS database experience
