As a LOB Risk Lead, you will be within PNC’s Risk, Change, Experience & Strategy (RCES) organization, supporting the Commercial Credit Quality Assurance Team.
The Quality Assurance team provides the 1st line of defense and risk partners with comprehensive testing and reporting to validate adherence to PNC’s credit underwriting policies and procedures, as well as to identify potential areas of weakness to enhance underwriting quality. Internal partners of the Quality Assurance team include Underwriting and Portfolio Monitoring employees primarily within C&IB lines.
The position will be primarily engaged with helping to manage the various credit related issues that the Quality Assurance team will test or monitor on behalf of the business issue remediation efforts. Preferred qualifications of the LOB Risk Lead include but are not limited to the following:
– The ability to address issues against policy and procedure, develop issue remediation testing strategies and write reports with our findings
– Relationship & time management, including the ability to coordinate work sets across various stakeholders
– Commercial Underwriting or Credit Risk experience is a plus
– Knowledge of varied lines of business within the Corporate & Institutional Banking function
This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.
Job Description
- Establishes Line of Business risk management strategy and oversees the execution of the risk management programs. Serves as an advocate for the risk management program.
- Ensures the risk management strategies and programs are established, maintained and enhanced to support the businesses in managing their risks while meeting business and regulatory expectations.
- Oversees the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and/or across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components.
- Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit). Monitors changes in internal and external factors and identifies emerging risks.
- Leads and engages cross functional teams and develops internal capabilities.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $65,000.00 – $157,300.00Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
