K-2 Program Manager

Job Overview:

The K-2 Program Manager will provide oversight for statewide assessment programs. They may be responsible for either multiple small projects or for one larger project within a program, which often requires multiple resources and cross-functional integration.Program Managers serve as the client contact for a key program component. Within their area of responsibility, successful Program Manager will ensure adherence to contract specifications, schedules, and budgets, with a focus on the delivery of the technical components of CAI’s computer-based testing programs.Job Responsibilities:

Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned program or project; drives timely and clear communication with project stakeholders.Works directly with clients and internal teams to ensure that all plans and schedules are viable and that clear lines of communication are established.Tracks deliverables, escalates risk, participates in risk mitigation sessions, and coordinates change requests across functional teams.Develops meeting agendas, leads regular internal and external project meetings, and documents decisions.Provides input regarding project staffing plans and the delegation/assignment of project responsibilities.Interprets and documents software requirements and enhancement requests from clients; captures configuration specifications and works with software team to implement accordingly; performs UAT to ensure client expectations are met.Ensures established operational and quality control processes are followed; identifies gaps and works with functional teams to close them.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree requiredPrior experience in the summative, certification, or other high stakes assessment industry is requiredExperience or background in K-2/Early Childhood testing highly preferredExperience working directly with senior-level clients, government stakeholders, and educators preferredExperience working in large-scale assessment or SaaS organization preferredPMP certification highly preferred
