A global healthcare solutions company is currently hiring fully remote Integration Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, the Integration Engineer serves as the principal technical expert responsible for seamlessly integrating company solutions into customer environments. Key responsibilities include conducting technical needs analyses, overseeing project management tasks, providing technical and customer support, programming and testing interfaces, and ensuring the successful implementation of company products through effective task execution. The role requires adept communication of technical specifications, interface programming, and testing results. Integration Engineers collaborate closely with Project Managers and Implementation Specialists in interface planning, design, and review, while also establishing and managing interface milestones within project plans. Proficiency in discussing and handling HL7, LAN, WAN, VPN, and TCPIP technologies with customer stakeholders is essential.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Software Development or Interface Development experience, preferably with C#, XML, or .NETExperience in using healthcare interfaces, messaging standards HL7; and application/data integration and methodology is required LAN, WAN, VPN, TCPIP technologiesSQL, MS-SQL preferredCompetent level of experience with pharmacy automation and associated interfacesOutstanding problem solving skills; ability to think creatively to find resolutions to complex problemsKnowledge and understanding of business principles, processes and technologyComprehensive understanding of pharmacy operations and systemsAbility to work well under pressure, meeting multiple deadlinesAbility to work independently with minimum supervisionAbility to communicate clearly with technical staff as well as less technical colleaguesStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteHighly motivated and self disciplinedAbility to learn quickly
What You Will Be Doing
  • Codes, tests, implements, and supports product interfaces.Performs technical needs analysis.Proficient in project management and planning.Provides third tier technical support.Provides implementation and sales support.Responsible for mentoring entry level Integration Engineers.Interacts with customers to determine interface requirements and implements solutions according to the defined project guidelines.Communicates with product management regarding product/interface enhancements.Must have the desire and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.Performs related duties as assigned.
