Schedule

What You’ll Do
- Monitor and manage registration, referral, and authorization work queues
- Obtain and document all insurance verification, prior authorizations, and referrals for scheduled services
- Communicate with providers, insurance carriers, and patients to resolve clearance issues
- Update and reconcile insurance and demographic information in patient systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to support clinicians in understanding payer requirements
- Escalate accounts unable to be cleared and ensure accurate documentation
- Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory guidelines
What You Need
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred
- 1–3 years of patient registration or insurance experience (at least 1 year in customer service)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology and CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Deep understanding of insurance processes and payer requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Zoom
- Ability to multitask, solve problems, and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations
