Schedule
- Full-time, fully remote position
- Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST
- Annual salary: $77,000
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of insurance representatives and supervisors, delivering industry-leading results for hundreds of medical practice clients
- Drive employee engagement and dedication to ensure outstanding client service
- Assist in establishing policies, workflows, and procedures to achieve business goals
- Oversee workflow, set goals, and provide ongoing performance feedback, including participation in annual evaluations
- Enforce company policies and ensure staff meet role responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare insurance reimbursement functions
- Monitor aged account balances and ensure timely follow-up on delinquent accounts
- Manage inventory and performance KPIs to meet project expectations
- Exceed contractual recovery rate minimums for all applicable clients
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience
- Minimum 5 years in healthcare insurance collections preferred
- Minimum 2 years in a management role leading healthcare or collections teams
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and provide feedback
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical skills with proven ability to interpret reports and documentation
- Experience with Latitude and/or LiveVox preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects under aggressive timelines while working independently
