Schedule
- Fully remote (U.S.-based)
- Flexible hours, with minimum 8 hours per week availability during business hours (M–F, 8am–5pm CST)
- Contract role
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and submit dental insurance claims accurately and on time, with prompt follow-up to ensure payment
- Post insurance payments and adjustments to patient accounts, reconciling with practice management systems
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, running reports to track trends and improve collections
- Serve as the primary contact for dental offices and insurance companies regarding claims and billing issues
- Ensure accurate coding and documentation for all insurance claims
What You Need
- 5+ years of experience in dental insurance claim submission, payment posting, and AR management
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, coding, and billing procedures
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and data security
