Reporting to the Eastern North America District Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Account Manager is part of a regional team responsible for direct sales of parts and services to an install base in the municipal water & wastewater markets.

The Inside Sales Account Manager will operate within the region of the Southeast United States, consisting of GA, FL, NC, SC, AL + additional regions as required. As the Inside Seller, you will manage the customer relationship through the lifecycle of UV systems, from introducing new customers to consumables to ongoing services and upgrades and expansions within existing customer accounts.  Your work will consist of outbound customer calls, tracking, and working closely with your Regional Account Manager (RAM). We are customer-focus driven; as the inside seller, it is about being curious and creating the best customer experience possible. 

This role will require occasional travel within the US and Canada, and can be based out of the Southeast United States or out of our headquarters in London, Ontario.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Generating and qualifying leads and achieving sales and service targets on existing accounts through customer engagement, value selling, and funnel management.
  • Participating in formal proposals, invitations to bid, supply contracts and managing & supporting contractual obligations.
  • Qualifying target customers for Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Software-connected opportunities (Stream).
  • Working collaboratively with your regional account manager in the Southeast Territory to support transactional sales, manage the territory email & call inboxes, produce quotes, and collaborate on a shared purpose – to win as a team for your customer.
  • Fostering partnerships with our customers, expanding customer knowledge, building awareness, and facilitating solutions.

The essential requirements of the job include: 

  • Post-secondary education
  • 3+ years of customer experience in sales & negotiation
  • Ability to travel within the region
  • A proven track record of phone-based selling of product & services

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $55,000 – $65,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
