Job Description

  • Working within the Care Group Human Resources department, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide support for the overall HR function and various HR Programs, Special Projects, and Initiatives that support our practices and Advantage Dental Plan.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team in all aspects of support to include but not limited to employee activities, meeting set up, compensation, job transfers, employee relations, performance management, succession process and policies.
  • Provide customer service by being the first point of contact for employees by assisting and answering questions as needed.
  • Play a key role in updating and processing our policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and administer internal communications for HR. This could include creating and partnering with internal communication to disseminate relevant information and announcements as well as creating and posting internal employment posters.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries (via phone or email) from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Manage/Assist employee records by preparing or updating employment related records
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Support the business with executing against all DEI initiatives
  • Assist HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets and invoice processing.
  • Produce reports and presentations and provide documents, information, data analysis and tracking as needed.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Order and maintain department office supplies, coordinating shipments, submission of purchase orders, invoice processing, and general facilities
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements

Required:

  • One-year experience in HR or relevant human resources/administrative experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a high volume, fast paced
  • Ability to set priorities, multitask and remain calm and focused in a quickly changing environment
  • Strong ability in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data and information with confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with HR Databases and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now, SilkRoad) preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of human resources processes and best practices preferred
