We have an immediate opportunity for a detail-oriented, outgoing HR Generalist to help manage human resources to include HR programs, processes, and employee relations. You’ll report to the US Manager of Human Resources and will be an integral part of our People Operations team, championing our culture and delivering an exceptional work experience. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, detail-oriented, and have the ability to independently complete tasks in a virtual environment.
The company has operation centers in Austin, Northern California and Northern Ireland and business operations in San Francisco, New York and London.
What you will do:
Administrative
- Ability to quickly learn and absorb MSQ’s system tools and processes including Zendesk ticket management.
- Update and maintain accurate employee and contractor files.
- Document processes and procedures in online knowledge base.
- Practical experience and application/use of various forms of analytics e.g. dashboards, ticket data, spreadsheets and be able to make informed changes and improvements based on data analysis
Compliance
- Ensure security, quality, timeliness, and proper use of people data and information.
- Provide guidance to all management on US legal compliance requirements.
- Keep up to date with US employment legislation
- Work in close partnership with HR leadership to prepare, implement and maintain all HR strategy and compliance programs.
Employee Relations
- Assist in managing investigations and employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
- Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements
- Serve as a trusted advisor to all business units in MSQ operating with a high EQ and precision communication skills and empathy
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Deliver organizational support with a servant mentality
- Perform other special projects as assigned.
Who you are:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a HR Generalist or similar title/responsibilities
- You have attained a 4-year degree
- KPI and data-driven
- Able to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, geographically dispersed team environment
- Able to recognize root cause issues and proactively develop solutions with a sense of urgency
- Able to quickly learn and master third-party software solutions.
