About the Role:
Serves as first line support of service delivery for Human Resources inquiries for CrowdStrike. This customer facing role provides high-quality support as the primary contact for applicants, employees, and former employees by servicing inquiries regarding the employment life-cycle and human resources related transactions in the areas of onboarding, compensation, learning, payroll, benefits, People program/initiatives and People systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides case management and timely resolution for first-level inquiries via multiple communication channels (ServiceNow, phone, e-mail, Slack, Zoom) from key stakeholders and colleagues responding with accurate information, problem identification, and resolution in accordance with state and federal regulations and organization policies and procedures
- Identifies and prioritizes non-routine employee inquiries/transactions and proactively serves as an employee advocate by escalating to the individual on the employee’s behalf
- References and encourages the use of employee self-service tools found on the company intranet to educate employees on available resources where applicable
- Monitors and analyzes the People Services helpdesk for trending inquiries in an effort to identify opportunities for improvement to mitigate high ticket volumes
- Serves as the subject matter expert for HR processes and procedures by accurately advising employees and managers on the appropriate actions needed to proceed
- Supports the Talent function by coordinating pre-employment screening/background checks upon offer acceptance, and partners with Corporate Security where applicable; ensures timely communication of the activity to internal team members and candidate
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Assists in benefits administration by partnering with local health insurance and pension brokers where applicable
- Works closely with third party stakeholders where required to provide information in accordance with local employment legislation.
- Ensures the accuracy of new hire and employee data by auditing the input of employee life-cycle transactions within the HRMS; updates the HRMS with appropriate data as applicable
- Facilitates and coordinates the company’s Day 1 employee onboarding program for AMER employees
- Partners with Immigration Program Manager and Talent team to support the coordination of immigration paperwork for visa initiation and renewals
- May assist with other projects as assigned
Experience, Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or related business field coupled with 1 3 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Experience with onboarding and processing HR related transactions
- Familiarity with Workday and/or SNow
- Experience as first line of contact for employees or customer service-related role
- Process improvement, training, communication, and project management skills
- Superb attention to detail required as well as excellent verbal and written skills
- Comfortable with full Microsoft office suite
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Ability to work cross functionally, problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work at all levels in an organization and across different cultures.
