Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Day Shift, EST)
- Remote role (must reside in the United States)
Compensation
- Salary range: $15 – $19 per hour
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound patient scheduling calls while meeting service-level goals
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel primary care appointments following practice protocols
- Collect and enter accurate patient demographic and insurance information
- Provide professional, empathetic communication to build trust with patients
- De-escalate dissatisfied callers and escalate complex issues when necessary
- Navigate multiple computer applications across dual monitors during calls
- Document all interactions and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Assist with special projects as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a medical setting, or 1+ year of healthcare call center/customer service, or 3+ years of general call center experience
- Basic healthcare knowledge required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn specialized systems
- Strong communication skills, detail orientation, and ability to multitask in a remote team environment
- Typing speed of at least 25 WPM preferred
- Reliable internet connection (100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload minimum)
