Schedule
- Temporary, fully remote
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST
- On-camera training required
- No time off allowed during training and ramp-up period
Responsibilities
- Process professional claim forms submitted by providers
- Review policies, benefits, and eligibility for accuracy
- Adjudicate claims according to client workflows and turnaround times (SLAs)
- Investigate denied services and submit appeals when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI confidentiality, and company policies
- Respond to claims-related emails with timely resolution
- Accurately calculate payable claim amounts using fee schedules
- Maintain productivity and quality scores (98.5% PA, 99.75% FA)
Requirements
- 1+ years of healthcare claims processing experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of computer experience navigating multiple systems/screens
- Prior remote work experience preferred
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to toggle between systems efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Preferred
- Experience with Amisys
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
