What You’ll Do
- Process and adjudicate medical, professional, and hospital claims within required timeframes
- Respond to customer and provider inquiries regarding claim status
- Research and request information related to claims payment or denial
- Generate letters for denials or requests for additional information
- Perform various duties assigned by management to support claims operations
What You Need
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2–5 years of prior claims processing experience
- Knowledge of ICD-9/10, CPT/HCPCS coding, HCFA 1500s, UB92s, and medical terminology
- CPC certification preferred
- Strong data-entry accuracy and time management skills
