🧠 What You’ll Do
Join the Allegiance team as a Health Claims Examiner and play a vital role in supporting individuals, families, and providers by ensuring timely and accurate claims processing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and verifying medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy claims
- Analyzing codes, documentation, and plan details to ensure accuracy
- Communicating with providers and members to gather missing info
- Resolving claim issues and escalating when necessary
- Collaborating with team leads, managers, and legal or case management teams
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with audits or appeals
🧾 What You Bring
This is an entry-level role with full training provided. All you need is:
- A high school diploma or GED (college coursework or medical terminology = bonus)
- Typing speed of 45 WPM (net)
- Basic math skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word/Windows
- Ability to read and apply benefit plan details and insurance guidelines
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving ability
🎯 Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience in claims processing, medical billing, insurance, or health services
- Understanding of medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 codes, or EOBs
