JOB SUMMARY

As an employee of the Guest Services Department, the Support person provides assistance to the Guest Services Department with regard to the collection and processing of any outstanding payments, and scheduling guest service-related refunds.  The Support person also processes insurance claims and provides guest-facing documentation for claims when requested. Employee is expected to be able to provide initial and follow-up support to guests via phone and email.  Employee assists with seasonal-driven project work. 

The Guest Services Support assists the Director of Global Guest Services on an as-needed basis. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Respond to guest and internal questions over email.
  • Process Tripmate insurance claims. 
  • Action items from the departmental insurance email box.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and refunds.
  • Navigate Seaware with ease to perform all functions.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree preferred.  
  • Travel industry experience preferred.   

$50,000 – $55,000 a year

This position is also eligible for an annual target bonus opportunity.

COMPENSATION STATEMENT

Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate’s region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
