What we are looking for…A highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Fulfillment Professional (TBD) to assist in the management of our 3PL relationships to bring the AvantStay experience to every guest. The Supply Chain Fulfillment Professional (TBD) will be responsible for designing and implementing Fulfillment and Logistics plans while acting as the point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. This person is operationally minded and thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
What you’ll do…
- Assist the Lead with all stages of the Fulfillment process and work cross-functionally with all internal teams.
- Manage weekly 3PL communication channels in order to stay on top of all outstanding orders.
- Receiving/Confirming inventory before installs.
- Help develop and maintain a system for pre-Install calls that involve the on site project manager and gather and share details on home specifics, expectations of the 3PL partnerships and raise and solve any challenges prior to opening the home.
- Skilled at details around every home opening to maximize efficiency with our 3PL and Openings Teams
- Gather all home details (Matterport, inspections, design decks, lease start, photos, floor plans, etc
- Create new business lines and strive for cost savings with 3PL relationships
- Analyze and manage 3PL performance
- Work with internal teams to create a guide of standard weights and general item lists for projects
- Communicate weights and measurements of products incoming and outgoing from the 3PL
- Work cross-functionally to manage inventory and ensure orders are placed on time to support forecasted demand, maintain healthy inventory levels, and support growth
- Own any missed items in the install and reconcile these with the warehouse, including scheduling secondary deliveries
- Field questions and maintain data and detail on all items being shipped to the 3PL and to the home
- Support with the development of strategies to support the Openings Team of the Homes division
What you’ll bring…
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 1 year experience of sourcing experience, preferably in a hospitality environment; experience in real estate, property management, or short-term rentals a plus
- Experience communicating and negotiating with a full catalog of vendors
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as experience working with third-party procurement management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to navigate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and fluency with Excel or Google Sheets required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with little oversight
