This role combines leadership, compliance expertise, and hands-on fraud detection to ensure client trust, operational integrity, and team success.

Work Environment

- Standard schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- Rotating weekend coverage as scheduled
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily fraud operations and ensure workflows meet SLAs
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to fraud analysts and investigators
- Act as escalation point for complex, high-impact fraud cases
- Lead investigations across multiple payment channels (Debit, Credit, ACH, P2P, Bill Pay, etc.)
- Ensure fraud investigations meet compliance and regulatory standards
- Deliver fraud reports, trend analysis, and recommendations to clients and leadership
- Monitor fraud metrics to identify typologies and improve prevention strategies
- Draft and maintain SOPs, best practices, and compliance documentation
- Stay updated on fraud trends, technology, and regulatory changes
What You’ll Need
- Associate’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 5–7 years of fraud detection/investigation experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of fraud detection tools (Verafin, DataVisor, etc.)
- Fraud certification (CFE, CFCI, or equivalent) preferred
- Solid understanding of payment systems, banking operations, and regulatory guidelines
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments
