What You’ll Do
- Complete claims follow-up and appeals, including research, rebilling, adjustments, and escalations.
- Communicate professionally with commercial insurance payers to resolve claims.
- Reference payer websites and resource materials to troubleshoot issues.
- Review EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, and other correspondence to ensure accurate claim resolution.
- Complete work queues on time and assist other projects or teams as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment.
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 4 years of healthcare revenue cycle billing and collections experience.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, diagnosis/procedural codes, hospital and professional billing.
- Prior remote work experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret EOBs, denials, and appeals.
- Comfortable working with multiple applications, payer portals, and systems.
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Health Information Systems, 10-key, multi-line phone).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
