The Global Events function sits within the Marketing Team to drive demand & lead generation, positively influence the pipeline, ensure client engagement, and build the brand. This is an exciting opportunity to bring new ideas to a growing team. We are seeking an Event Marketing Specialist to support our global events program and forge strong relationships with stakeholders and customers in the region. 

About The Role

The Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting & coordinating the strategy that builds out the Kpler brand and drives demand generation by marketing and implementing hosted events,  Trade Shows, and sponsored participation. 

The successful candidate will work directly with marketing, sales, analysts, and product stakeholders helping to plan, create, and deliver amazing events supporting demand and engagement. This is a brilliant opportunity for a passionate events specialist who has proven experience in performing under pressure, is self-motivated, and is a team player but can also work independently.

What you’ll do

• Project manage and coordinate marketing, planning, and logistics of allocated global events and ensure high-quality executions. Includes marketing campaign, product positioning, logistics, delegate management, sponsorship deliverables, content & speaker management, technology, branding, etc.

• Keep up with the industry events calendar to identify the key events/tradeshows that are strategically important and recommend the best type of presence for our brand

• Work with stakeholders in helping to plan, create, and co-ordinate events (sponsored and hosted) in line with company/events objectives (revenue and brand)

• Work with marketing counterparts to manifest the events as part of an integrated marketing plan, supporting demand generation plans

• Sourcing, negotiating, and managing events vendors universe (print, branded items, venue, AV,  Tech, etc.) 

• Manage budget for allocated events, including securing sponsorships and negotiating rates with vendors

• Research and target our intended audiences to contribute to the MQLs funnel

• Lead planning and promotion activity for events for Kpler’s customers and prospects

• Researching trends in event planning to develop new ideas for future events

• Contribute to guidelines, processes, and best practices for events 

• Ensure all event projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed expectations.

• Build close relationships with internal stakeholders 

• Manage event cost reconciliation, ROI, and reporting

• Support on additional projects as required

About you

 2 to 4 years of experience delivering event executions and hosting full events in various scenarios

• Understanding of events performance metrics and ROI reporting 

• Global experience desirable, global mindset a must – some travel required

• A good communicator who can rally people behind a plan and convey the excitement these events need

• Collaborative mindset who likes connecting the dots across departments to solve problems.

• Customer-focused and obsessed about delivering best-in-class experience

• Working knowledge of event tech and martech desirable –Pardot, Salesforce, event registration tools (Cvent, Bizzabo, etc)

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively

• An understanding of budget management and the importance of accurately reporting on expenditures
