We are excited to bring on an Enrollment Service Processor to join our member services team supporting Group Protection in our Omaha, NE and Atlanta based offices or in a remote environment if not near a key city.

As an Enrollment Service Processor, you will be responsible for handling requests to update employee level records and other eligibility related items. Production standards will be aligned to your goals, and you will utilize your technical aptitude and critical thinking skills across multiple systems to perform successfully. This opportunity will provide insight into the world of group insurance administration while gaining new skills through a defined career pathing and development program. What you’ll be doing

  • You will determine eligibility and confirms effective dates for benefit elections based on contractual guidelines, leveraging your critical thinking/problem-solving skills to create, maintain and modify member level records across multiple products, applications, and platforms.
  • You will apply policy provisions for effective dates, evidence of insurability requirements and other pertinent information to determine necessary changes while processing basic eligibility management projects such as open enrollments, amendments, billing mode changes, setting up new billing locations, acquisitions and rehires.
  • You will communicate effectively through email/phone with internal/external stakeholders in a customer centric and professional demeanor while recognizing what needs to be done to meet customers’ expectations and demonstrates flexibility/responsiveness to meet customer needs on routine work independently.
  • You will identify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality.
  • Training Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am CST – 3:30pm CST/8:00am EST – 4:30pm EST 10 weeks (no time off during training).
  • Regular Schedule: Must be available to work Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00am CST – 5:00 CST/8:00am EST – 5:00pm EST. Regular schedules will vary following training.

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0-1+ Years of eligibility insurance enrollment experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Effective strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maneuver through multiple systems/databases/platforms/software.
  • Ability to be adaptable/flexible as business needs change.

Must-have capabilities:

  • Must have internet bandwidth of 12 Mbps (Megabits per second). Preferred bandwidth is 25 Mbps to perform at full capacity.

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):

  • Research and data entry experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Work from Home : Employees will work from home and are not required to work in a Lincoln office on a regular basis.
