Schedule
- Full-time
- Remote (with hybrid option if within 50 miles of Omaha, NE or Newport Beach, CA)
- Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (flexibility required for non-standard shifts with notice)
What You’ll Do
- Provide expert support for employee-level inquiries across Workforce Benefits (life, dental, vision, disability, supplemental health, leave)
- Handle inbound calls, chats, and emails from employees, employers, and brokers
- Educate clients on Pacific Life processes and digital tools to drive adoption
- Assist with claim intake and communicate claim status, requirements, and next steps
- Mentor new team members and support departmental initiatives
- Identify trends and propose process improvements to enhance customer experience
- Partner with internal teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure satisfaction
What You Need
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-first mindset with proven problem-solving ability
- Comfort working in a flexible, metrics-driven environment
- Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential information
- Ability to collaborate and coach peers with a continuous improvement mindset
What Makes You Stand Out
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 4–6 years of progressive employee benefits or group insurance experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel
