What You’ll Do
- Manage an arbitration caseload and determine appropriate client plan payment offers
- Draft persuasive briefs and offer documentation for arbitration packages under federal regulations
- Conduct due diligence research (online, portals, applications) to support case analysis and submissions
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather information needed for IDR package submissions
- Review and analyze clinical and provider-submitted documentation of moderate to high complexity
- Meet federal filing deadlines and required turnaround times consistently
- Respond to communications (electronic, written, verbal), log details, and maintain accurate records
- Outreach to clients to obtain data needed for arbitration packages
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while protecting HIPAA privacy and compliance
- Collaborate across teams and departments to drive efficient, successful resolutions
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of healthcare operations experience (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and independent decision-making skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, logical, concise)
- Solid business judgment, problem-solving ability, and comfort working independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work extended periods seated while using standard office equipment
