Your Role:
As the Director of Operations Accounting, you will be instrumental in driving our standard costing initiatives as part of our Digital Transformation team. You will lead the implementation of standardized costing methodologies, leveraging your expertise in cost accounting and process optimization. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and developing our standard costing department, ensuring that it becomes a center of excellence within our organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Implement Standard Costing Practices: Lead the implementation of standardized costing methodologies across our organization, ensuring consistency and accuracy in cost accounting processes.
- Collaborate with Digital Transformation Team: Work closely with our Digital Transformation team to integrate standard costing practices into our ERP system, with a particular emphasis on Dynamics 365 ERP.
- Build and Develop the Operations Accounting Department: Recruit, train, and develop a team of accounting professionals, establishing the operations accounting department as a key contributor to our organization’s success.
- What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounting, with 5 years of cost accounting experience
- Consumer Packaged Goods experience required
- CMA certification or CPA certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles, cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred
