Nymbus is hiring a Digital Accounting Specialist to oversee digital general ledger functions, reconciliation activities, and money movement for digital banking clients. Schedule
- Full-time, remote (U.S.)
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
- Occasional travel for client sites or meetings
What You’ll Do
- Perform and oversee all digital general ledger functions and reconciliation activities
- Manage federal reserve reconciliations, resolve mapping discrepancies, and ensure accurate interest calculations
- Support client chart of accounts production and maintenance
- Conduct money movement processes and resolve reconciliation exceptions
- Provide exceptional internal and external customer service for digital clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new general ledger initiatives
- Identify and implement process improvements across reconciliation and ledger functions
- Manage and resolve operational tickets in line with SLAs
- Support peers with guidance, training, and expertise
What You Need
- 4+ years of industry-related experience preferred
- Accounting experience in a credit union or banking environment required
- Strong knowledge of general ledger processes (mapping and reconciliation experience preferred)
- Familiarity with banking compliance regulations
- Strong analytical, time management, and detail orientation
- Effective communication and public presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operations support systems
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
