Central or Eastern Time Zones only
Salary Range
$145,000 – $155,000 base
(full company range listed: $124,200 – $192,500 annually)

What You’ll Do
- Administer and optimize Postgres and MySQL/Aurora clusters
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support production workloads
- Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure (EKS, ECS, Lambda)
- Create and manage Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (CDK/CloudFormation/Terraform)
- Automate provisioning and enable self-service for engineering teams
- Support production environments and participate in on-call rotation
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across global teams
- Improve resiliency, security, availability, and CI/CD workflows
- Document systems and create clear architecture diagrams
What You Bring
- 8+ years engineering & cloud platform experience
- 4+ years DBA experience in cloud environments
- Expert with AWS Aurora MySQL & Postgres
- Strong skills with TypeScript or another static-typed language
- Python proficiency preferred
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, ECS, serverless
- Hands-on experience with CDK/CloudFormation/Terraform
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation & communication skills
- Bachelor’s in engineering/CS/math preferred
