Cherry Technologies is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join its fast-growing FinTech team. You’ll be on the front lines assisting providers and borrowers, ensuring every interaction delivers a best-in-class customer experience.

Schedule

  • Full-time, remote role
  • Flexible scheduling required, including weekends and some holidays

What You’ll Do

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, live chats, texts, and emails to resolve inquiries quickly
  • Strive for one-call resolution while de-escalating challenging situations with professionalism
  • Track, review, and engage with a high volume of customer interactions daily
  • Document all customer interactions and account issues accurately
  • Provide solutions and recommend next steps based on account assessments
  • Collaborate directly with management to improve processes, systems, and overall service quality
  • Contribute to strategy discussions and suggest improvements for the department and company
  • Work across departments in a startup environment, driving continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

  • 1+ years of customer support experience (financial products or consumer lending preferred)
  • Strong multitasking ability with proven skills in handling omni-channel inquiries
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate situations and resolve issues effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Intermediate skills in Excel/Google Sheets preferred
  • Startup experience highly valued
  • Strong organizational skills, pride in performance, and a team-first mentality
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000
  • Bonus: $25,000 on-target annual bonus
