The Role:
- As a Customer Support Associate you will support the needs of all WorkStep users.
- In this role, you’ll be on the front lines representing our organization by providing empathetic engagement with our job seekers, partners, and internal team members.
- You will be adept at listening to and working with people and ultimately solving their problems.
- This remote position will be the third Support Associate hire, and will report directly to the Support Manager.
- This is a salaried position with an expectation of coverage from 9:00a ET – 6:00p ET or CT.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate (inbound and outbound) with job seekers, actively employed users, and our employer partners.
- Respond promptly to all user inquiries in written (email, text, chat) and phone-based communications.
- Identify, document, and report user trends, bugs, and enhancement requests.
- Problem-solve autonomously to troubleshoot issues and bridge gaps in processes and product functionality.
- Complete back-end tasks within product to expedite data results for customers.
- Assist in onboarding and implementation of new customers.
- Collaborate with the broader team to ensure a streamlined and successful experience for all users.
- Utilize Salesforce, Dialpad, and Front to facilitate communications.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 1+ years of remote customer support, customer success, or other relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and numeracy.
- Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Passion for the WorkStep mission.
Preferred experience:
- Experience creating knowledge articles or training materials.
- Experience managing multiple communication channels at one time
- Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud.
