About the Role

As​ ​a Customer Success​ ​Architect​ ​at​ ​HashiCorp, you will be responsible for the delivery of outstanding technical guidance and the successful enablement of our largest customers. Your primary objective will be to drive the achievement of measurable value (value-based outcomes) with HashiCorp customers, leading to product adoption, renewal and expansion.

Customer Success Architects help HashiCorp customers define the vision and strategy to improve all aspects of application delivery, including security and privilege automation, datacenter and cloud provisioning, service discovery and connectivity, and application runtime automation.

An ideal candidate will have a successful track record in customer leadership, focused on technology and organizational transformation. They will have demonstrated the ability to become a trusted technical advisor to customer and business leaders.

**Please note that we are currently only considering candidates in the PST or MST. 

What you can expect in your first 30, 60, 90 days with us: 

30 days– You will complete the CSA onboarding program, meet with your team members, and start shadowing other CSAs. After completing your CSA training, you will have a high level understanding of what our products do; expertise in one or more of our products; and you will start partnering with the customers you are assigned to. 

60 days-  You will begin owning a book of customers and will work with them on the HashiCorp product of your choice. You will then start to learn a second HashiCorp product. 

90 days- You will have developed proficiency in one HashiCorp product line and will be managing customers. With this, you will start to work on complex engagement types, such as our most prescriptive engagement types. You will dive deeply into how our customers are using our products – and guide them toward more mature adoption of our tooling. 

Your background may align with this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of technical work experience 
  • 1-2 years architectural experience
  • At least 1-2 years experience working with business cross functional stakeholders or enterprise customer facing experience
  • Proficiency using Devops tools or highly technical tooling in adjacent fields such as distributed data systems, observability, security and encryption tooling, orchestration, virtual networking tooling, or similar
