Schedule

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Operating hours: Monday–Friday, aligned with Pacific Time Zone
  • Must reside within Pacific Time Zone

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for members, providers, and plan sponsors through phone, web-chat, email, or correspondence
  • Answer questions, resolve issues, and guide members using Aetna’s benefits, tools, and resources
  • Build emotional connections by understanding each member’s unique needs and preferences
  • Provide education on benefit plan information, claims, balances, cost-sharing, and self-service tools
  • Anticipate unasked questions and proactively provide helpful information
  • Take ownership of customer contacts to resolve inquiries or escalate when appropriate
  • Document and track all customer interactions accurately using internal systems
  • Partner with internal teams to improve processes and deliver presentations when needed
  • Support member health by offering solutions and connecting them to the right resources

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment (call center or retail preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with empathy and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and stay organized
  • Must live in Pacific Time Zone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Experience in healthcare customer service a plus

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 – $31.30 (based on experience, education, and geography)
