How you’ll contribute:
As a Customer Relations Analyst, you’ll be responsible for providing support to complaint case managers in responding to customer complaints within required timelines to mitigate reputational risk to Brighthouse Financial (the “Company”) and ensure compliance with applicable state and securities regulations governing customer complaints.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Document and assign complaint cases in a central repository.
- Handling customer complaints of a general nature.
- Collaborate with third-party administrators to gather and analyze records to support the complaint case manager through the complaint cycle.
- Prepare and coordinate the review of business and regulatory complaint reports as needed.
- File complaint reports with state insurance and securities regulators, as required.
- Work with other compliance, legal, and business associates to address the root cause of complaints and assist in the development of targeted training, procedure revisions, and other required actions identified through complaint trends.
- Assist with quality review checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency with our written procedures.
- Conduct research and perform other administrative projects as needed.
- Develop a strong understanding of life insurance and annuity operations and the regulatory framework.
- Perfoem other duties as required.
We’re looking for people who have:
- 0 to 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- A working knowledge of insurance and annuity products.
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

- Compensation – Base salary ranging from $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
