About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Marketing Manager to bring our customer success stories to life and develop a strong customer advocacy program. This role is crucial in highlighting DataCamp’s real-world impact and nurturing a community of dedicated advocates. As this is a new role, we are looking for someone with a passion for building from the ground up, who thrives in ambiguity, and who is driven by seeing their efforts come to life through hard work and ingenuity. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive customer marketing strategy.
- Create compelling customer success stories, case studies, and video testimonials.
- Build and manage a customer advocacy program to amplify customer voices.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, product marketing, acquisition, demand gen, and event teams to recruit advocates for speaking engagements.
- Manage a customer reference programs for sales.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer marketing, preferably in SaaS.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
- Experience in developing and executing customer advocacy programs and building communities is a plus.
- Ability to measure the impact of campaigns and the customer advocacy program through data analysis, and leverage insights to inform strategy and decision-making.

Compensation
At DataCamp, we strive for market alignment and internal equity as a key part of our compensation approach. The base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $130,000; actual pay will be determined based on the individual’s skills, experience, and location. Salary is one component of our total compensation package. This position also qualifies for:
- Equity (i.e., stock options).
- Unlimited PTO
- 401K retirement plan + matching
- Insurance (medical, dental, vision, life)
