Schedule

  • Full-time, remote role (US only)
  • Must be able to work across multiple communication channels (phone, email, chat)
  • Standard business hours with flexibility for retail support

Responsibilities

  • Promptly address retailer inquiries via email, phone, or other platforms with professionalism and empathy.
  • Communicate with retailer leadership teams, ensuring clarity and a positive experience.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide accurate product/service information, and guide retailers toward effective solutions.
  • Document all interactions in CRM systems and share feedback with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Trust & Safety, and Engineering to resolve complex escalations.
  • Monitor trends in retailer communications to recommend process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date as a subject matter expert on Instacart’s retail services, products, and policies.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with retailer teams.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience troubleshooting customer issues
  • Experience with multi-channel communication platforms (phone, email)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-starter with ability to manage projects independently
  • Experience in retail operations or e-commerce platforms
  • Solution-oriented mindset with proven relationship-building skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Compensation

Instacart offers highly competitive pay based on location:

  • CA, NY, CT, NJ: $46,000 – $48,000 USD
  • WA: $44,000 – $46,000 USD
  • OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, HI: $42,000 – $44,000 USD
  • All other states: $38,000 – $40,000 USD
