Two Chicks With A Side Hustle

If you’re good at getting paid without turning into a villain, this is your lane. First Advantage needs a B2B AR specialist to reduce past-due balances, shrink DSO, and keep customer relationships clean while documenting everything in their finance system.

About First Advantage
First Advantage (Nasdaq: FA) is a global background screening company serving many Fortune 100/Global 500 brands. They emphasize empathy, inclusion, and a tech-forward transformation across their products and operations.

Schedule

  • Full-time, remote (with occasional business travel mentioned)
  • Pay: approximately $24.00–$28.80/hour (offer within range based on experience and skills)
  • High touch portfolio work via phone and email

What You’ll Do

  • Call/email assigned customers to secure payment on past-due invoices
  • Partner with customer contacts and internal sales teams to remove payment blockers and prevent repeat issues
  • Identify and resolve billing disputes per company standards
  • Log detailed notes for every customer interaction in Oracle Financials (timely and accurate)
  • Research unidentified payments with finance partners when needed
  • Perform account maintenance: refunds, credits, write-offs, etc.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting and account updates to leadership
  • Handle other duties as assigned

What You Need

  • High school diploma
  • 3–5 years B2B accounts receivable or collections experience
  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Basic accounting and reconciliation skills
  • ERP experience required (Oracle and Siebel preferred)
  • Strong follow-through, calm under conflict, able to multitask and still use common sense
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team, with an eye for process improvement

Benefits

  • Medical, vision, dental, and supplemental plans
  • 401(k) with employer match + Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
  • Competitive/flexible PTO + 9 paid company holidays
  • Growth opportunities and tech-forward environment

One real talk note: this role lives and dies by your Excel and your ability to de-escalate while still collecting. If you’re not confident in pivots and VLOOKUPs (or the modern equivalents), tighten that up before you apply.
