Schedule
- Full-time, remote role within the US
- Standard Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility
- Collaboration across Accounting, Client Success, and Account Management teams
Responsibilities
- Collect aged past-due invoices, minimizing uncollectible balances and improving customer retention
- Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to resolve past-due balances
- Post daily payments (ACH, wire, credit card) to invoices using Sage Intacct
- Assist accounting with daily billing for both new and ongoing contracts
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, accounts, and payment histories
- Partner with Customer Service to strengthen client relationships through collection strategies
- Support Finance and Customer Success on ad-hoc projects as needed
- Document accurate notes and maintain professional, solution-oriented communication
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in credit and collections or a bachelor’s degree
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact confidently with customers and internal stakeholders, including in confrontational situations
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, continuously improving environment
- Tenacious about learning and building new skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $48,000 – $58,000 annual base salary depending on experience
- Performance-based bonus of up to 10% of base pay
