Job Title: Corporate Real Estate Portfolio Specialist

The Corporate Real Estate Portfolio Specialist will play a key role in close collaboration with Real Estate Managers, Senior Real Estate Director, and external real estate attorneys to ensure organized and approved leases.

FOCUS

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Real Estate Managers, Senior Real Estate Director and outside real estate attorneys to ensure that leases and their exhibits are properly organized, documented and approved prior to signature
  • Communicates with landlords on lease deliveries and ensures timely follow-ups
  • Reviews landlord estoppels and SNDA requests for information accuracy; works closely with Legal and Development to ensure these are addressed in a timely manner
  • Oversees the input, accuracy and upkeep of the Virtual Premise lease database; on a timely basis, uploads all new lease and renewal information
  • Works closely with Accounting to ensure they have accurate rent and lease commencement dates
  • Tracks all leases that are expiring within the next 24 months; works closely with Real Estate team to ensure that these are being addressed/negotiated on a timely basis
  • Responds to ad hoc landlord and lease follow-ups at direction of the Real Estate team
  • Provides administrative assistance to Facilities team

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

  • Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 45 to 55 hours a week.
  • Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.
  • Must be able to engage in problem-solving skills to help identify and solve potential issues in the field.
  • Must be able to communicate heavily through telephone, e-mail and in-person communications.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND BEHAVIORS

  • BA or BS required, preferred
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to interact with all levels of a company.
