Want to join the dynamic and talented group of creatives responsible for one of Texas’s fastest growing brands? As a copywriter at Favor, you’ll collaborate with various teams to create impactful content for multiple audiences and deliver a consistent and cohesive brand experience at every touchpoint. In addition to driving performance, your words should help foster community and brand loyalty among customers, Runners (delivery drivers), and merchant partners.
With a strong understanding of copy fundamentals and previous industry knowledge, the ideal candidate for this role will be able to quickly adopt and elevate Favor’s brand voice to support a high volume of copy needs across the company with a strong focus on Runner content.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate across a multi-faceted company to produce large-scale campaigns.
- Write error-free copy that complies with brand and company guidelines while differentiating Favor in a competitive market.
- Work closely with the SEO Manager, Brand & Content Strategy Manager, and Brand Coordinator to develop and execute a content strategy for Favor’s consumer and Runner blogs.
- Work with the Marketing team to produce copy for paid social and digital ads, OOH, and traditional print.
- Work with the Product and Support teams to produce copy for customer and Runner websites, apps, and service platforms.
- Work with the CRM team to promote marketing initiatives via email, in-app messages, and push notifications.
- Work with the Senior Copywriter to develop Favor’s brand voice and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Monitor brand voice and copy edit content created by other teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 2+ years of agency or in-house copywriting experience
- Experience writing copy for performance-based marketing campaigns
- Experience writing copy for Product and Support teams
- Experience in ideation and creation of cross-functional marketing campaigns
- A strong portfolio that shows relevant real-world experience
Ideal Candidate:
- Familiar with digital content platforms, including WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, and Spotify
- Able to write clear, concise, and compelling messages with a thorough understanding of grammar, SEO, and brand guidelines
- Able to collaborate directly with designers and photographers to guide a range of creative projects from conception to completion
- Able to recognize and recall important details accurately and efficiently
- Able to multitask and work constructively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and willing to navigate between analytical and creative projects
- Extremely comfortable receiving and giving creative feedback
- Familiar with humor and pop culture and able to use those references appropriately
