About the Client
Our nonprofit client is dedicated to conservation and environmental storytelling. They highlight regional priorities through compelling content that connects communities, donors, and stakeholders with mission-driven initiatives.

Schedule

  • Part-time contract, approx. 20 hours per week
  • Fully remote role

What You’ll Do

  • Write and edit feature stories, marketing materials, and strategic communications
  • Conduct interviews with scientists, program leads, and subject matter experts
  • Manage the full content lifecycle, from research to final delivery
  • Incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders and follow up for timely approvals
  • Create and edit articles, fact sheets, newsletters, annual reports, video scripts, campaign brochures, and presentations

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of professional writing experience
  • Nonprofit or conservation writing experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Strong project management, research, and communication skills
  • Experience writing for web and social-first narratives in alignment with ethical storytelling

Pay

  • $30 – $34 per hour
