  • Remote (Nationwide U.S.)
  • Eastern Time shift
  • High-volume contact center environment supporting patient billing needs

What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound calls about patient medical bills, insurance coverage, EOB forms, and payment arrangements
  • Troubleshoot billing questions and explain next steps, timelines, and benefit coverage in plain language
  • Document interactions accurately and ensure issues are properly recorded and closed
  • Partner with internal teams to research denials, missing payments, and attorney-related requests
  • Use multiple internal systems to resolve patient billing needs efficiently
  • Support special projects and other tasks as assigned

What You Need

  • Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • 1+ year of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (healthcare call center preferred)
  • Fluency in English
  • Working knowledge of EOBs and a variety of insurance plans
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT codes
  • Strong math skills (percentages, decimals, whole numbers, fractions)
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal) and excellent customer service instincts
  • Ability to analyze and explain complex documents clearly and professionally
  • Strong organization and time management skills with attention to quality standards
  • Comfort applying state/federal laws, regulations, and policies in your daily work
  • Team-first mindset and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
