- Full-time with eligibility for Ventra’s performance-based incentive program
What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients calling about billing, insurance, and EOB forms
- Troubleshoot billing inquiries, explain benefit coverage, and set up payment arrangements
- Document and record interactions accurately, ensuring proper closure of issues
- Collaborate with internal departments to research denials, missing payments, or attorney requests
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned
What You Need
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of customer service experience in a high-volume setting (healthcare call center preferred)
- Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits, insurance plans, ICD-10, and CPT codes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software
- Strong math, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to interpret complex documents and apply federal/state policies
