Job Summary
As a Compliance Analyst, you will have a key role helping to mitigate risk to BeyondTrust by maintaining company policies and procedures. This includes ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of, and adherence to, the BeyondTrust policies and procedures involving Governance, Risk and Compliance.
This is a project driven role requiring attention to detail; day-to-day activities include editing and authoring technical documentation and processes while assisting in tasks relating to GRC’s Internal Audit, Change Management, Business Continuity Planning and Standard Operating Procedure Reviews.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate across BeyondTrust in support of information and GRC management solutions and implementation efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collects compliance evidence to support a variety of legal, operational and security requirements relating to GRC’s audit programs
- Interpret and communicate compliance requirements to responsible business units while identifying gaps between compliance and audit requirements.
- Arranges communication and contacts with involved stakeholders
- Coordinate and research requests from the organization regarding security, compliance, and privacy-related questions.
- Assist in the update and review of Policies, Standards, and SOP in accordance with applicable compliance and/or regulatory requirements
- Assist with organizational compliance aligning to applicable regulations and policy communication ensuring that requirements for the compliance program are implemented
- Provide practical assistance in documenting, maintaining, and reviewing BeyondTrust’s Change Management (CM) processes, procedures, and Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Assist in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR) and Incident Response (IR) related activities
- Assist in delivering compliance and security awareness training, education modules, and role-based training
- Provides help with compliance audit and assurance activities as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 or more years of Compliance experience
- Experience supporting Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure) and/or Software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity of industry regulations and frameworks such as NIST 800-53/800-171, ISO 27001/27701 and SOC 2.
- Ability to interpret technical data (application logs, architecture diagrams, technical reports).
- Experience in compliance management related activities such as Policy, Standards and Procedure documentation.
- Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills
- Technical skills working with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Visio)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments/teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
- Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously while under firm deadlines
