The Compensation Analyst at Included Health will support the Director of Total Rewards on compensation philosophy and structure in alignment with compensation practices and policies to achieve business objectives. This role will support survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design and associated analysis.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support equity strategy and programs that attract, reward and retain talent top throughout the employee lifecycle and evolve programs to reflect the stages of company growth
- Analyze competitive compensation programs and present recommendations and assist in implementing new programs
- Enhance our existing compensation philosophy and support programs for broad-based and executive pay to support company goals
- Review career architecture, salary range structure and approach to geographic pay that supports our diverse and distributed workforce
- Conduct regular compensation benchmarking using external market data to ensure competitive and equitable pay
- Analyze trends, research best practices, observe economic conditions, understand and maintain compliance laws
- Manage cash and equity budgets and act as program management support for our company performance and compensation cycles
- Participate in leadership bonus plan design, execution and communication working with stakeholders across the company
- Partner with GTM Ops, Sales Leadership and Finance on sales and variable incentive plans
- Assist in preparing analysis and materials for Board of Directors, Compensation Committee/executive management review meetings and other leadership presentations
- Contribute to training and communication efforts to ensure that leaders and employees understand the value and philosophy of compensation and reward programs
- Provide daily operational support and partner with HR Operations, Stock Administration, HR Business Partners and Recruiting team
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 4-7 years of experience in compensation and equity programs
- Progressive compensation experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Knowledge in broad-based compensation, executive compensation, job architecture, data analysis, and market pay research
- Expert in excel and other reporting tools
- Experience developing a deck of compensation recommendations for executive review
- Analytical mindset with strong ability to interpret data and apply to find creative solutions to unique situations
- Mathematical skills including calculating compensation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to present analysis/recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to various audiences (HR partners, cross-functional partners, managers, business leaders, employees)
- Strong ability to organize, keep track of details and produce results in an fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of regulatory environment and compliance requirements
- Prior experience working in high-growth, pre-IPO company and/or industry experience in Technology or Healthcare preferred
- Knowledge and previous experience with Workday a strong plus
