What You’ll Do
- Support the Communications team with administrative tasks, scheduling, and reporting.
- Draft meeting agendas, track tasks, and take/distribute detailed meeting notes.
- Assist with celebrity and influencer projects including photo shoots, media campaigns, and event coordination.
- Track celebrity supporters, news, tours, birthdays, and award show updates.
- Maintain records of celebrity correspondence, media hits, and department accomplishments.
- Draft letters, notes, and outreach to celebrities, influencers, and media contacts.
- Research opportunities for outreach through media, events, and social platforms.
What You Need
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced office setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and willingness to learn new tools.
- Interest in and knowledge of celebrity culture.
- Professionalism, discretion, and reliability when handling confidential information.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to PETA’s mission and adherence to a vegan lifestyle.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
