We are looking to grow our team! CalAgJobs is seeking a motivated and energetic person to join our team and assist a wide variety of tasks related to our client work and job postings.
We need someone organized and personable who can assist with scheduling, email follow up and assisting with position promotion. They will take and edit notes and minutes for a variety of activities and assist as needed with webinars. Someone who is social media savvy, self directed and can work efficiently with minimal supervision will be essential. The successful candidate will be corresponding via phone and email with candidates and clients so professionalism and excellent written communication is an absolute must. This role also utilizes our CRM and ATS systems which are fairly easy to learn for someone comfortable working with a cloud database. This person will assist with coordinating logistics for events such as booking travel and catering. This role also assists with marketing and mailings as needed. Experience as an administrative assistant would be ideal.
While this work is done completely remote and flexible with hours, we need someone who can work most of their hours during normal business hours (between 7 am and 5 pm) and connect live via group phone calls for weekly team meetings. We would prefer someone with the ability to travel within California to college trade shows and industry events when needed.
A degree from a community college is the minimum educational requirement, ideally a degree related to agriculture. A background or strong interest in agriculture is a must. This is an hourly role for 15 hours per week with opportunity for additional hours. The pay starts at $20 per hour. We offer a company IRA.
