Schedule
- Full-time, remote
- Standard weekday schedule with flexibility to manage 40+ claims daily
What You’ll Do
- Monitor billed accounts daily and identify outstanding receivables
- Investigate historical billing data to resolve discrepancies
- Contact clients to discuss overdue payments and encourage resolution
- Resolve billing issues and manage appeals for commercial and workers’ comp claims
- Prepare reports on collection activities and progress
What You Need
- At least 1 year of medical billing experience
- Familiarity with medical billing codes and appeal processes
- Strong email and phone communication skills
- Ability to manage 40+ claims per day
- Compassionate, patient, and calm approach to collections
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
