If you can stay calm while somebody’s mad at their balance, and still guide the call toward a real resolution, this is your lane. You’ll work past-due accounts, negotiate payment solutions, and handle tougher account questions that get escalated from customer service.

Schedule
- Remote (must live in: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI)
- Two evening shifts per week
- 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM CST
- 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST
- One Saturday shift every 5 weeks
- Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound calls to past-due customers to resolve delinquencies
- Identify delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts and take ownership of resolution
- Research accounts and choose the best next step to get them back on track
- Take payments over the phone, including credit card transactions
- Offer hardship and relief options aligned to company policy
- Use company tools to aim for one-call resolution
- Explain interest, statements, and other account details clearly
- Support overflow calls (disputes, recovery, first pay, bankruptcy) as needed
- Help with administrative tasks as assigned
What You Need
- Associate degree in a related field or relevant experience
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, internet, email)
- Professional phone presence with strong verbal and written communication
- Persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under deadline pressure, concentrate, and adapt to change
