Schedule
- Full-time, non-exempt position
- Remote role supporting Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO
- Salary: $23–$25 per hour (final rate based on experience and location)
Responsibilities
- Handle collection calls and correspondence in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Manage detailed conversations with customers and provide professional, empathetic support
- Communicate effectively in both outgoing and incoming calls, resolving issues promptly
- Navigate multiple technologies while staying engaged with customers
- Negotiate, reconcile disputes, and resolve questions related to outstanding balances
- Collaborate with branch personnel to maintain effective working relationships
- Document interactions and follow up consistently to achieve departmental goals
- Think critically, work independently, and contribute to team success
- Take on special projects or tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in finance/accounting or accounts receivable
- Strong foundation in spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
