DESCRIPTION
JD Palatine (JDP) is located in Wexford, PA and currently recruiting for a Collections Specialist. This position can be fully remote within the US or if the candidate is in Pittsburgh, PA, may work a hybrid schedule. Payrange is up to $25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Reporting to the Controller, we are seeking a business-to-business Collections Specialist to build and execute a comprehensive collections program. This is a unique opportunity for a high energy individual to make a significant impact on the success and growth of the business by instituting and acting upon collections best practices with our valued customer base. In addition to a competitive base salary and performance bonus, we offer a hybrid working environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Controller, build and develop a collections program from the ground up, instituting processes, technologies, and tools to maximize and accelerate customer collections.
Take ownership of Accounts Receivable portfolio and drive down average days outstanding for balances.
Collect outstanding payments from customers, while maintaining positive relationships with key customer contacts.
Work collaboratively with other departments in the company to leverage customer contacts and relationships to enhance collections.
Coordinate with 3rd party collection agencies for severe cases.
Create periodic management reporting on collections status.
