Collections Specialist (Remote)

What you’ll be doing:
· Collection of receivables overdue by customers via phone or email
· Identify and resolve disputed / billing related issues
· Monitor & communicate credit & payment concerns to management
· Submit customer refund requests, prepare, and review account adjustments, resolve customer discrepancies and short/over payments
· Review daily orders held for credit review to determine if the order should be released, to ensure credit is not exceeded or that the customer has a past due balance
What you bring to the table:
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
- Attention to detail with impeccable follow through
- Ability to multi-task & prioritize workload
- Ability to get tasks accomplished in an efficient and timely manner
Qualifications :
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B collections, accounts receivables & credit experience required
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
